If your answer is ‘yes’, there may be a role for you at Citizens Advice Havant.
Whether it's a paid role you're looking for or a volunteering role we are always looking for help.
Paid Job Opportunities
We currently have no paid positions.
We always have vacancies for volunteers at Citizens Advice Havant and we would love to hear from you (use our contact form) if you're interested in volunteering with us.
Whether you have a few hours or a few days or more to offer, we have a range of volunteer opportunities that may suit you.
Some of the volunteering roles we have to offer are:
Receptionist / Administrator - we are always looking for people with good administration and people skills to work with clients and behind the scenes making our local Citizens Advice an efficient service. Our Advisers usually start in an admin role to get to know the way we work
Adviser - initial training starts you off as an Initial Assistant - that takes about 6 weeks training and then you can carry on to do the full adviser training over about 12 - 18 months while still taking an active role with clients
Research and Campaigns - if you feel strongly about our campaign issues then we would love you to join us to help collate evidence, and take an active part promoting our campaigns
Trustee - we are on the look out for people with good business skills who would like to join our Trustee board to help run Citizens Advice Havant
- Financial Capability mentor - we have a project working in the local community that needs volunteers to help either in schools or in community workshops to improve financial literacy in the area, helping improve budgeting skills and general financial awareness. No prior knowledge is needed, just a friendly and non-judgemental attitude and some basic numeracy
You can find out more about the different volunteer roles on the Citizens Advice Website
