Description

You will join the management team and support the Service Manager and CEO, having overall management responsibility for the operational and administration functions across the service. You will take lead responsibility for managing premises leading on ICT and compliance with GDPR and Health & Safety regulations.

To be successful in this role you will need:

  • Experience of office and facilities management
  • Experience of managing office premises, including ensuring they are well-maintained, secure and safe
  • Experience of staff management, team working and training coordination
  • Experience of office systems including Microsoft Windows, Office and Google applications
  • Experience of the development and management of ICT and the ability to develop systems to improve office efficiency
  • A commitment and understanding to the organisation’s aims and principles and equal opportunities policies

Advice Supervisor

Description

You will join the advice supervision team and support the Service Manager and CEO, sharing the overall responsibility of advice supervision across our advice teams on site, at outreaches and remote home-working.

To be successful in this role you will need:

  • Experience of supporting and supervising advice team on site, at outreaches and remote home-working
  • Experience of checking advisers’ work at generalist level
  • Experience of giving advice to clients if required, according to service needs, dealing with own casework
  • A commitment to ensuring high quality of advice is maintained at all times
  • A commitment to promoting and taking up research & campaign work
  • To carry out any other duties compatible with the role as and when required
  • Experience of staff and/or volunteer management and training/development
  • Experience of office systems including Microsoft Windows, Office and Google applications
  • A commitment and understanding to the organisation’s aims and principles and equal opportunities policies
